Is '13' really a BAD number?

Sigh, we had an eventful weekend! But I seek to be positive.. or rather as much as I can. Days to go for the big day to come, still, we have so many hurdles to go through! I'm not very tall, I cannot jump very high to pass the hurdles! Luckily, we have many friends who are supportive in our lives, it does take some of my stress away.

Two terrible things happened yesterday.

PS WHO EVER READ MY SISTER BLOG PLEASE DO NOT TELL ANYONE ABOUT IT.

Aldine always tells me something good could come up though there are mishaps. I will learn to be more positive and keep everything in God's hand. Honestly this is the time to practise my faith!!

I don't really want to talk about what happened yesterday but hope those affected wiil not be too stress about it.

I shouldn't sigh but please let me have on:

SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ok I feel better now.

Apart from all that crap... I do have good stuff to report. Wedding plans seems to be running smoothly. I managed to finish off my bombineres, Fred managed to take some time off with his friends, he did the guest lists without much nagging and the weather has been pretty good! We rented the car for my uncle without having to pay too much. Though the house is not ready for them, the church was happy to have them! Moreover, my uncle and family are heading downsouth tomorrow and I'm glad to be able to print alot of info off the internet for them (without having to worry they might lose their way).

So seriously, life isn't as bad. Friends have been ringing to ask if we need help and though we don't, I felt very comforted at all times!

Seriously, praise the Lord for his constant blessings!!! Must remind myself to continue to thank Him after all the events!

Well, a few more days to our BIG DAY! And I cannot wait for my holiday to start on Wednesday! Woo hoo!!

I should still be blogging until Sat hopefully..

Till then, have a good day!

The Homecooked food

How I miss my mum's cooking!

I would have thought ingredients in Australia is so different from Singapore, the outcome would definitely be alot different.

Since my parents came over, I have been having all the home cooked food! It almost taste the same in Singapore! Looks like I have alot to learn.

Yesterday we had Foochow fishballs!! I can't believe they have it here too! It was alittle more expensive than the ones at home but it was good enough. It was pretty tasty too!! Oh, my dad found the ingredients to make red wine chicken! Once again, I can't believe the shops also have all these. I need to explore more! Soon, I will be able to have red wine chicken for special occasions!

My family has been so easy going with the half renovated house, tiny stove (my bloody new stove not installed yet!), little dinning table from Ikea with only 4 chairs! So we ended up going outside to have alfresco style to enjoy the nice weather and good food.

Tonight having CHICKEN CURRY! So yummy! I cannot wait.

With all these good food... I have to be very careful with how much I eat! Wedding in 9 days!

What songs? What music?

Before I start, I'm so mad with Fred!!! He refused to go to work early with me!! Arghh!!! But I must get over it. Shouldn't let this start my day!

Well, we met the DJ last night. He wasn't the young, cool type of DJ. He was of middle age but quite a funny and easy going guy. Hmm.. hope the music will turn out ok! One thing about the music and songs they play in Australia is just so retro!!! They love to play songs like ABBA, KYLIE, ok it is morning and I cannot think. But you know what I mean?

Anyway now we must decide what type of songs to play for walking in, cutting cake, first dance, dinner music, dance music, farewell music etc.

If anyone do read this, give me some ideas? We do prefer some pop music but I thought we should start of some oldies to get everyone to join in.

Any ideas? Anyoneeeee?

And it is like super clean now! There were piles and piles of leaves and after clearing it, we found concrete!! lol..
