On Saturday arvo, Fred took me to the chinese butcher in Chinatown to get some pork! I was really excited! Imagine consuming smelly pork from the normal supermarket for 2 years! The shop was so busy with so many asians! Even the butchers speaks mandarin!
So I bought two long meaty pork ribs, pork bones (1kg), lean pork (1kg) and chicken wings.
I went home to make pork stock with the pork bones. Usually if I used pork bones from the supermarket, the pork stock will smell. But this time, the fragrance from the pork stock was so good!!! I was so happy! I managed to freeze two containers of stock.
I also bought chicken bones to make stock. This time I used 3 whole chicken bones to make about 500 ml of stock. Can you imagine how thick the stock was??
For dinner last night (again never take photo), I added foochow fishballs, beef balls, prawns, caixin, lean pork to my pork soup. It was like steamboat! So yummy!!

There's no recipe to make stock. It is so easy anyone can make it.
The only thing is that you must NOT just throw the bones and water together and boil it.
Always give the bones a first boil, discard the water and wash it with clean water. This will result in cleaner looking stock and less "meaty" smell.

I have stocked up so much food for the week, getting ready to cook at home. Last week (cos we just came back from holidays), we have been eating out all day.
Update of my nauseous:
Unforunately, it is still going on. Not sure what is wrong with me!!! Maybe I must try to take less acidic food.
